The bigger the better – or so the adage goes. But size in any context is often a fraught topic. Does magnitude mean excess, vulgarity or too-much-ness? Regular readers of The World of Interiors may remember last year’s miniature edition: a diminutive iteration of the magazine you could happily slip into your pocket. Well, 12 months on we are beefing up, broadening our horizons and exploring all things Maxi: vast spaces, OTT decoration, extensive collections, even the stars and galaxies that drift above our heads.
