About The Quester's Guide: Magic Issue

The Quester's Guide is an interactive handbook filled with stories and creative prompts designed to help you see with fresh eyes, play imaginatively, and reconnect with your creative spirit.

This Magic issue features over 40 contributions from artists, thinkers, creatives, and fellow Questers worldwide, including:

Beautifully illustrated creative missions to explore your world

Illuminating stories and perspectives on finding everyday magic

Real-life experiences with intention and serendipity

Explorations of ancestral magic, connection to nature and the more-than-human world, and making things as acts of magic

How It Was Made

The Quester's Guide (Magic issue) is a creation of the Creative Quests community, founded in 2021. In January 2024, 60 Questers from around the world spent a full month immersing themselves in the theme of Magic. Every insight, story, and creation comes from community members and friends we've met along the way.

Magic is the first in a series of ongoing multimedia Quester's Guide editions - each exploring the world through a different thematic lens.
