Nick Relph's Free Piano presents a select compilation of images sourced from online classified listings in the United States, featuring pianos offered free of charge. 

Drawing from the over 5000 images Relph collected between 2019 and 2023, Free Piano is an exploration of the life cycle of the piano, the once widely produced instrument that appears to have lost its significance in the modern era. This book presents visual representations of the pianos before their next lives, alongside unedited statements from their surrendering owners.
