You are gathered now in our quiet red house.

You are above us. in the hall. as we sleep. The hall's volume is vast but your presence gives it weight. You are all of this place, the arts, the crafts.

Some of you are made from things that were left behind, given purpose. Others come from far away in place
and time, your ancientness made modern. Others have been cleaved together, cleaved apart.

Of his mind and of his body. You are so human, your arms, your legs, your backs. Holding hands in a circle, a beginning but no end.
