Gunnar Hall is photographer based in Los Angeles, drawn to the strange theater unfolding in everyday life. Interested in moments when the ordinary slips slightly out of place - when a gesture, expression, costume, or chance encounter makes the familiar feel briefly unreal.

Through photography, he gathers fragments from the city and uses them to build a small world of his own. In that world, separate lives, places, and moments begin to echo one another.
