When Bellissimo set out for Ireland to review it for you, we could barely spell the place. After a few journeys to this wonderful island, we’ve only scratched the surface.
There is more than meets the eye. To truly understand Ireland would take a lifetime of stone pilgrimages, naked humming with strangers, pints upon pints, and greeting dubious priests on a windswept road. And still, you’d only be scratching that same surface missing the ferry back.

But don’t stop at the first surface station you find. As Alan once said, THERE IS MORE TO IRELAND THAN THIS. More than toothless simpletons, drunken handsome clerics, and bean stews.

We left our preconceived judgments behind. We watched horses run through council estates, talked to the nudes, drank with the prudes, hardly slept for a day, and even skipped our nap the next. We did it all, and we did it for you.
We also text my old schoolteacher, who loved me so much and so sweetly oh dear, how she loved me. I miss you forever, Miss Morri- son. I will always miss you dearly. Damn, it hurts. But back to Ireland this is serious now.
